The context and environment of the Bastide are ideal for all sporting activities.

There is a very wide choice on the doorstep or within a few kilometres:

Walks and hikes, of course, but also with donkeys, on horseback (Faugères riding school), on bikes (l'Ardéchoise cycle touring event) and Mountain and Trail biking too.
Near the Bastide there are 3 sign-posted Mountain, Trail biking and Bridle paths.

A host of unspoilt streams are ideal for swimming, canoeing and canyoning.
There are several canoe and kayak rental firms and canyoning guides in Les Vans, Joyeuse and Vallon Pont d'Arc.

The steep cliffs of the Gorges and the many caves are great for climbing and caving.
Many companies organise guided outings.

Activities organized locally include treetop circuits, quad biking, paragliding, go-karting and a water sports complex...
